• Prisons should not be too hot or too cold nor should they have pest problems.
• Every inmate should get their own cell with a proper mattress and a usable desk and chair.
• Every inmate should get total privacy inside their cell, unless there is a self-harm, escape, or other threat involved.
• Every inmate should be able to open and lock their cells as they please, except during lights out.
• of course guards will have an override for necessary situations
• Every inmate should be able to order and bring a laptop, tablet, or mobile phone connected to the cellular networks, meaning they will have full access to the internet.
• but they have to pay for the devices and connections themselves.
• there can be exceptions for those convicted of sexual-based offenses and those convicted of computer crimes, however even these people should be allowed those clear prison tablets that do not have internet connection
• Punishment should come in the form of taking all their electronic devices for a set period of time, instead of solitaire confinement.
• Inmates are currently forbidden from masturbating in prison - I would revoke this.
• Inmates are currently forbidden from doing legal business from prison - I would revoke this.
